We love to share the farm with people. From sheep-shearing demonstrations to running scavenger hunts for little ones, we hope our farm can always be a place where more people can learn about farming and healthy food. We’ve done workshops on sheep and pigs, collected eggs with newcomers, hosted apple-cider pressing parties, home-canning impromptus with friends who want to learn to can, and farm tours for visitors interested in local farming and very, very good food. Between us, we have more than 35 years of experience in agriculture education and experiential learning, which makes our farm the perfect place to have a high-quality learning adventure.
We're right between the Falls of Hills Creek, the Cranberry Glades Boardwalk, the Scenic Highway, and the Cranberry Wilderness and the town of Hillsboro, home of the Pretty Penny Cafe and the Pearl S. Buck Birthplace museum. If you're touring Pocahontas County, be sure to schedule a visit to the farm.
