How we raise animals on our farm

We will raise an animal for you. You let us know what cuts you prefer. When the time is right, we’ll deliver everything to the USDA meat processing facility. They’ll custom cut, package, and flash freeze your meat. We’ll call you to let you
know the pickup date at our farm in Hillsboro or in Lewisburg.
The farm of 350 acres is operated by Joe and Sarah Riley and all their kids. We also help Joe's parents, Ed and Charlotta, farm nearly 1000 total acres of mountain Riley farms handed down through the generations.
Stompin' Crick Farm raises healthy, happy, local black Angus cows along with Hamphire, Suffolk, North Country and Dorset sheep, Berkshire and Hampshire pigs and brown-egg-laying chickens. Our animals have no antibiotics, growth hormones or animal by products in their diets. We use sustainable agricultural methods that are beneficial to the continued use of the land. We also work to develop the local economy so that people in our communities can have healthier food from local resources and our local wealth can grow.
