Finding the path to our farm

Picture
From Marlinton:
Head South on US-219 for 8.5 miles.  When you come to the intersection at Mill Point turn onto Route 39 West (head towards Richwood). Turn right onto Route 39 West.  In about a mile and a half, you'll pass a small bar and grill on your left.  Our farm starts right across the road on your right!  Continue on Route 39 until you come to the next driveway on the right, directly across from Little Mountain Retreat.  We are in the big tan farmhouse on the top of the hill.  If you miss us, in a mile or so you'll find yourself driving up Kinnison Mountain towards the Scenic Highway, the Cranberry Wilderness, the Cranberry Vistors' Center and the Falls of Hills Creek.  Come on back!

From Lewisburg
Head North on US-219 for 33 miles, passing through Hillsboro and past the Pearl Buck Birthplace Museum.  Two miles north of Hillsboro, you'll come to the Mill Point intersection, where one of the big old grain mills is being patiently restored.  Turn left onto Route 39 West.  In about two miles, you'll pass a small bar and grill on your right.  Our farm starts right across the road on your left!

From Richwood
Head east on Route 39 (or as Richwoodians know it, Marlinton Road) for 27 miles.  Top over Kinnison Mountain, pass the Cranberry Visitors' Center and the entrance to the Scenic Highway.  Head down the mountain.  Once you get to the flats, you'll begin to see houses.  You'll pass a beautiful gray barn on the right and we are the next driveway on the left. There will be a big tan farmhouse on the top of the hill.  We are directly across from Little Mountain Retreat.  If you pass our farm, you'll see a little bar with a gravel parking lot and then a burned down house.  If you don't realize you've gone too far at that point, you get to the Mill Point intersection.  Turn around and come on back.
