Our prices are based on the real cost of what it costs us to raise the animals.  When the price of feed goes up or down, you can see it reflected in our prices.  We continue to try to make our meat as affordable as we can.  At the farmer's market in Marlinton, you can use the EBT machine to use your food stamps to buy meat from us.  We are always open to trading with friends and neighbors for whatever we can work out - from honey to massage therapy to construction to trout.

*We price per pound, based on the wieght of the meat you pick up at our door.  In the past, we sold on the hanging weight, also known as the carcass weight hanging on the rail.  Customers have give us consistent feedback that they'd
like us to base our prices on the meat they actually pick up, so we've changed our ways to better serve you all.  We now include the cost of meat processing fees by Greenbrier Foods or Allegheny Meats, both USDA-inspected facilities.
